Jason + Laura – Bertram Inn Wedding & Reception

Jason and Laura were married on October 15th at the Bertram Inn in Aurora. The ceremony was quaint and beautiful, with a fun reception following. We were able to sneak outside for some photos as well, with the fall leaves making for some really great backdrops. Check out some of my favorites below.

Khaled + Kris – Embassy Suites Downtown Cleveland Wedding

Khaled and Kris were married September 17th, on the rooftop of the Embassy Suites in downtown Cleveland. It made for a stunning backdrop to a beautiful ceremony. Afterwards, we headed out to public square for some bridal party shots and the couple portraits.

Their reception was held at Massimo Da Milano on W. 25th in Cleveland.

Kris and Khaled were so much fun to work with, and I really enjoyed shooting this wedding. Thank you so much!

This was also the first time I finally got to work with rock-star wedding planner/coordinator Heidi Baumgart herself, founder of Heidzillas.

Mike + Cheryl – Tallmadge Historical Church Wedding

Mike and Cheryl were married on September 10th at the beautiful historical church in the center of Tallmadge Circle. It really is a great, quaint little church with lots and lots of natural light streaming through the windows…great for photographers!

We were very worried about rain, but miraculously, the rain held off and it was absolutely perfect outside for the pictures. It did rain quite a bit later on in the day, but it was just about perfect timing for our photo schedule.

Their reception was a great backyard tent reception, and although the rain made things a bit soggy, it didn’t stop the party!

Mike and Cheryl are a really fun couple, and I had a great time working with them all day. I’ve included my favorite photos from the day below.

Ryan + Monica – Fieldcrest Wedding & Reception

I had the pleasure of photographing Ryan and Monica’s wedding on August 27th. They were married at the stunning Fieldcrest of North Canton. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and made for some great photos around the beautiful grounds. After some outdoor photos, we headed inside for a fun reception. Andrew + Jacqueline – Outdoor Backyard Wedding

Andrew and Jackie were married on August 20th, in a beautiful backyard ceremony in the Canton area. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the bride’s parent’s house, which was decorated exceedingly well and made for a great setting for the celebrations. For the evening’s entertainment they had an awesome band as well, which kept the party going all night. Check out some of my favorites below.

Jesse + DeCarla – Michaud’s Wedding and Reception

I had the pleasure of photographing Jesse and DeCarla’s wedding on August 13th. We started with some photos at the Cleveland Airport Marriott, before heading over to the beautiful University Circle area in Cleveland. I love the outside of the Cleveland Museum of Art, it makes for a stunning backdrop, and we also got some pictures in front of Wade Lagoon.

After the photos, we headed to Michaud’s Towne N’ Country for the ceremony, and then straight into the reception. One thing I loved about the ceremony was how emtional both Jesse and DeCarla were. They both cried during the ceremony, and it was incredibly obvious just how in love with each other these two are. As a photographer, being able to capture such raw emotion is amazing, which made this wedding especially great for me to shoot. Check out some of the photos from the day below.

Wes + Mariah – St. Ann Wedding

Wes and Mariah were such a great couple to work with! They were both so laid-back and relaxed which fostered such a fun atmosphere all day. Their wedding ceremony was at the beautiful St. Ann church in Cleveland Heights, and afterwards we stopped by Squire’s Castle in Willoughby Hills for some photos. Unfortunately for us, there was another ceremony in progress inside the castle itself, but we took advantage of the beautiful grounds outside to get some great shots. The reception was a backyard tent affair held at Wes’ parent’s stunning home. My favorite part was the fact that instead of a traditional wedding cake they decided to cool all their guests off with ice cream cake! Tim & Rachael – Alliance Outdoor Wedding

Tim & Rachael were married on July 30th, in a backyard ceremony in Alliance. The scene was perfect, and though we were a bit worried rain might force us indoors, the weather ended up being great with a beautiful blue sky. One thing I really enjoyed about this ceremony was how expressive both Tim and Rachael were, as you can see from the photos I got quite a few of them laughing enthusiastically. After the ceremony, we headed to a small wooded cabin for some more pictures, and then to the reception, which was held at St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church just off the Mount Union campus. One other thing of note, both Tim and Rachael are big soccer fans, which scored major points in my book as anyone who knows me will attest. They even had their seating chart setup in a 4-4-2 formation! (Any soccer nerds out there will know what I’m talking about!)

Ryan + Jill – St. Colette Wedding

Ryan and Jill were married back on July 23rd at St. Collete Church in Brunswick. Another awesome couple to work with, I had a blast hanging out with them all day. I got to travel with the bridal party on the ‘party bus’ which made for a good time, and after the ceremony we headed to the always beautiful Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The day finished with a great reception St. Paul Hellenic Banquet Center in North Royalton.

Tony + Michelle – Cleveland Hyatt Arcade Wedding & Reception

Tony and Michelle were married on July 16th at the absolutely beautiful Hyatt Arcade in Cleveland. I had shot receptions there before, but never a ceremony and this one turned out great. The venue is simply gorgeous, with high vaulted ceilings, elegant staircases, and a great atmosphere…I always enjoy shooting there. Tony and Michelle made it even better, as they were an absolute joy to work with: I love my clients!

Let me tell you what, Tony, Michelle, and their guests know how to PARTY! The dance floor was packed right from the off, and it kept going all night long. Before the end of the night, I even got to have some fun with them in the PhotoBooth.
